Our Large Hope Dream
I want to modify my house into a foster animal sanctuary inside and out. Including an enclosed balcony, cat window boxes, and outdoor cat tunnels around the house and garden. To do this I need to raise around $30,000 from donations, shop sales, and SEO business profit.
I used to rent out two rooms in my house in Brisbane via Airbnb and I used my two cats as the feature. 90% of the people who came said they came because of the cats. They had cats they missed etc. So I know that it’s something people love as I was always fully booked.
I have a guest area downstairs that I hope to use in the future for people who want to come and stay overnight with a cat they may like to adopt. Or just for cat lovers who want to experience the sanctuary.
People may also be able to stay short-term with their animals in situations where they are given a month to find a new rental and can’t find any that allow pets and don’t want to give their pets up.
This fulfills both my dreams of helping animals and helping people in times of disaster.
